1-inch (25 mm) female inlet: HQ5 model provides a 1-inch (25 mm) female inlet with NPT threads for standard irrigation connections.
Locking cover (LRC): Spring-loaded TuffTop™ locking rubber cover protects the inlet and resists tampering; purple cover option available for reclaimed water identification.
Heavy-duty construction: Red brass body with stainless-steel internal components for long-term, in-ground durability and corrosion resistance.
Retro-compatible: Engineered for interchangeability with major quick-coupler brands and common Hunter keys and swivels.
Service options: Hunter offers one-piece and two-piece HQ bodies; two-piece models permit upper-seal service in the field without depressurizing the system.
